Anthony Avice Du Buisson was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 1996 and now lives in Busselton, Western Australia. He is an essayist who writes about philosophy, religion, politics and literature. Anthony writes for a website called, "Philosophy: The stuff of Magic" on a weekly-monthly basis. His most prominent pieces are those of the letter series, "Letters to a concerned Free-Thinker" in which he accounts for his thoughts about philosophy and comments on what it means to be a freethinker in the modern era. Anthony is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts degree and majoring in Literature and writing, with the aim of becoming a Lecturer and professional philosopher.

Anthony is an autodidact and polymath, who is interested in anything philosophy and history related. He loves reading and writing, and considers these things to be the “gateways to intellectual enlightenment”.

Anthony is currently working on an anthology book, which will include his letter series and other essays that he has done on philosophy and politics.
